1st Waste Management Project in Housing Complex in Eastern India.

The ISWMAW-DCSRA Waste management project started on 23 rd January 2018 at the Diamond City South housing Complex in south Kolkata supported by International Society of Waste Management, Air and Water ( ISWMAW ) based on the model of source segregated waste management in the housing complex and gated community developed by Prof. Sadhan K Ghosh. The compost produced from the waste generated by nearly 578 flats will be distributed to DCS residents on 15th August 2018 at DCS compost complex. As a token of appreciation, some gifts have been arranged for the staffs who are directly involved in the dry and wet waste management process from the earning of this self-sustainable project.
